Deborah Lyn Feigleson Memorial Scholarship

When a diving accident left Deborah Feigelson, at age 21, a quadriplegic,
she vowed not to let her disability get in her way. After 11 months
of hospitals and rehabilitation centers, she took control of her
future from a wheelchair. She enrolled at Barry University and graduated
in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Cancer ended
her life in 1993, but not before her achievements inspired many.
She lived her life as a testimonial to what disabled people can accomplish.
The Deborah Feigelson Memorial Scholarship assists other disabled
students reach their educational goals.

- Full-time paraplegic or quadriplegic students.
- Other permanent disability considered.
