Goizueta Scholarship Fund
To Whom It May Concern:
I am a recipient of a scholarship from Goizueta foundation grant monies
during the fall 2004 semester.
Please allow me to tell you about myself. I graduated from Hillsborough
Community College over twenty-three years ago with an associate’s
degree in pre-teaching. My dream of becoming a teacher was postponed,
but today I can say it is about to come true.
In order for me to fulfill my life long dream of being a teacher, which
will enable me to lead young minds into the future; a few obstacles
were in the way. First, I had to find a school that would provide me
with an excellent education; but fit into my schedule while I continued
to work full time during the day. I was lucky to find Barry University,
which provided me with both. However, I had to secure several substantial
financial aid repay packages. Even with the demanding schedule of evening
classes, I have been able to maintain a 4.0 grade average.
The generosity of the Goizueta Foundation’s scholarship monies
will ease the financial burden of btaining a great education.
Sincerely,
Rhonda Gamboa
