To Whom It May Concern:

I wanted to write to thank the Goizueta Foundation for choosing me as a recipient for their scholarship award. I am a thirty year old mother of three who took an immense leap of faith by going back to complete my teaching degree after an eleven year absence. My husband is our sole source of income and makes about thirty thousand dollars per year. Between three children, a mortgage and day to day expenses our budget is really tight. We were getting by until hurricane Charley. We lost our computer with all of my school stuff, photographs, a months worth of groceries and spend six hundred dollars on plywood for the next three hurricanes. Needless to say this left our budget nearly non-existent and without book money. The Goizueta Foundation scholarship came just in time. We were able to use the money to help recover some of what we had lost. It was a tremendous blessing to both me and my family. I have a 4.0 GPA and am working hard to gain my degree in order to better both myself and my family. The Goizueta Foundation Scholarship truly blessed me and my family, and I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the foundation.

Sincerely,

Stacie A. Worley
