In 1993, Marie Fitzgerald, a retired teacher from Michigan, became interested in the curriculum of Barry University. Since she was proud of her niece, who was active in a sports program, her generous gift of twenty-five thousand dollars was used to support this endowed scholarship for students in the school of Human Performance & Leisure Sciences. Support this scholarship.
