Patricia, Paul & Mary Minnaugh Scholarship
(School of Arts and
Sciences – Theatre Major)
This scholarship originally started by Patricia for her parents
was renamed to include her name after her death in a tragic auto
accident in London. Pat, renowned puppeteer and beloved chair of
Barry’s
fine arts department at Barry since 1978, was visiting England teaching
a Barry study-abroad program. Her 1991 death shocked the community
and inspired Bob and Vicki Minnaugh to continue a scholarship she
had started. “We received a good foundation and a good education
at Barry,” Vicki said. “And through Pat’s life we
have a very special bond with the school. It is one of those entities
where you remain in touch with the people long after you leave. Support
this scholarship.
