The Division of Medicine (DivMed)

The Division of Medicine is committed to producing caring, capable, and knowledgeable health care professionals. The School offers degree programs through the School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery (DPM), the Physician Assistant Program (M.C.M.Sc.), the Master of Science in Anatomy Program, and the Professional Master's in Public Health (MPH) Program.

Throughout Barry University's Division of Medicine the focus is on providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to become competent, ethical, and well-rounded professionals. Barry offers an academic atmosphere conducive to scholarly achievement with faculty, staff, and institutional resources to enrich the experiences of students.

Our student outcomes reflect the quality of our programs: For the past three years, students in Barry University's Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Program have had a 100% residency placement and have a consistent overall above-average performance on the National Board Examinations. The inaugural class of our nationally-accredited Physician Assistant Program achieved a 100% pass rate on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam.
