Guest Speakers
Christopher Aiken, PhD , Associate Professor, Vanderbilt University , visited Barry University on January 23, 2006. He met with students, faculty and administrators, discussed career development with the research students and made a presentation "Emerging Inhibitors of HIV-1 Maturations" to the university community.
Alfred Johnson, PhD , Investigator, National Institutes of Health (NIH), visited Barry on February 20, 2006. Along with the research presentation " Suppression of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Gene Expression", Dr Johnson also spoke about the NIH Undergraduate Scholarship program.
