Student Accomplishments
Alison St. Paul (RISE) and Odaine Gordon (RISE) were inducted into Gamma Sigma Epsilon, a national chemistry honor society, January 23, 2008. The main speaker at the Induction was Dr. Lenore Rodico (MARC ’93), currently chair, Miami Dade College.
 Lina Arencibia (MARC/RISE ’07) received an award in molecular biology at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS), Austin, TX, November 2007. The research, molecular mechanisms that regulate fat metabolism, was part of her summer experience at University of California, San Francisco, CA, summer 2007.
