Dr. Thomas Ayers presented a paper titled “Adult-focused sustainable development education: Applications for the environment and society” at the 2011 Hawaii International Conference on Social Sciences held in Honolulu, HI on June 1st through June 4th, 2011. 

Ms. Maria Escott, M. Ed., Coordinator, International Language Institute, EPI/St. Petersburg College
Doctorial student Ms. Maria Escott has written a book titled “Green anole meets brown anole, a love story” which has been published by Peppertree Press in 2010.  It is a story about love and acceptance.

Dr. Michele Geigle, Provost, Schiller International University
Dr. Geigle co-presented a paper titled “Higher education in the 21st century: The multimedia generation and diversity in the classroom” via webinar, San Paulo, Brazil during June, 2009.

Dr. Valeria Garcia, Director, Planning and Analysis, University of South Florida
Dr. Valeria Garcia presented at the Florida Association for Institutional Research (FAIR) 2011 Conference held in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida on February 16th to February 17th, 2011.

Dr. Michele Heston presented a paper titled “From silos to bridges: Building a collaborative culture of inquiry” at the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges Annual Meeting held in Louisville, Kentucky from December 4th to December 7th, 2010.

Dr. Montas-Hunter presented a paper titled “Dominican women in higher education: A historical overview “at the National Association of Hispanic and Latino Studies (NAHLS) Conference held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from February 14th through 19th, 2011.
