Charrissa C. Antonio, BPA, MPS
Charrissa C. Antonio joined the Graduate Health Management Programs under the College of Nursing and Health Sciences in August 2011. She is an alumna of Barry University, where she earned a Bachelor of Public Administration degree. She also earned a Master of Professional Studies degree (with a Specialization in Executive Management) from St. Thomas University in spring 2012. Currently, Charrissa is pursuing a PhD in Leadership and Education (with a Specialization in Higher Education Administration) through Barry’s Adrian Dominican School of Education. In her current position as Operations Manager of the Graduate Health Management Programs, she is responsible for the oversight and operations of the programs administrative office, which includes addressing responsibilities associated with the budget, logistical operations, report preparation, supervision of support staff, course scheduling and other administrative assignments.
Charrissa has also been an active member in her community, having served in the capacity as a Mentor through the Miami Dade County Public School initiative, Communities in Schools and as an Assistant Coach of Strong Women, Strong Girls (Americorps), both of which she engaged in during her employment with The Honors College of Miami Dade College, where she served in the capacity of Secretary to the Dean. Other community initiatives include having assumed the role and responsibilities as Assistant Director and Group Leader of the Right Direction Youth Ministry (RDYM) at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
