A native of London, England, Mrs. Marshall has been a nursing instructor in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Barry University since 2010. She teaches medical surgical nursing and community and public health nursing in the undergraduate nursing program. Mrs. Marshall has a particular interest in women and immigrant health, spirituality and health, Faith Community Nursing (FCN), and Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR). Currently, she is pursuing her PhD at Florida Atlantic University.
Mrs. Marshall’s primary research interest is in Afro-Caribbean women and breast cancer morbidity and mortality. She has completed poster presentations at national and regional conferences and remains actively involved in research agendas pertaining to breast cancer health disparities among women of color.
