Tan Fung Chan, OTD, OTR/L
Dr. Tan Fung (Ivan) Chan obtained a bachelor degree in occupational therapy at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He then earned a clinical doctorate degree in occupational therapy at Rocky Mountain University-Utah, and is currently pursuing another doctorate degree in education, specializing in higher education and adult learning.
Dr. Chan has served as clinical supervisor of occupational therapy services at Mount Sinai Medical Center since 1999. He has also served as adjunct professor at Florida International University prior to joining Barry. He has completed research on the topics of evidence-based practice and dysphagia management. His specialty areas include geriatrics and neuro-rehabilitation. In his leisure time he enjoys kayaking and mountain biking.
