About the Program

Barry University's Exercise Physiology bachelor's program is an accredited by the CoAES and requires a total of 120 credit-hours.

Prior to graduation, you must sit for at least one of the following certification exams:

ACSM Certification

If you are interested in working with the general population, you will be guided toward the College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certification examination. Certification options include the ACSM Health/Fitness Specialist Certification and the Exercise Specialist Certification.

NSCA Certification

If you are interested in working with the athletic population, you will be guided toward the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification exam offered by the Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
