Meet the Student Health Center Staff

Eileen Egan-Hineline, RN, MHSA

Mrs. Egan-Hineline is a two-time Barry alumna. She received her Bachelor degree in nursing from Barry College and her Masters degree in Health Services Administration from Barry University. As a Board Certified College Health Nurse, she has spent the past 16 years of her career as the Director of the Student Health Center. Prior to coming to Barry University, Mrs. Egan-Hineline worked primarily in the peri-operative field of nursing at South Miami Hospital and in the Memorial Health Care system.

Mrs. Egan-Hineline's responsibilities include overall management and supervision of the Student Health Center. When asked why she has specialized in college health and why she has been at Barry for so long, she replied, "Part of a college student's educational process is to gain knowledge of self. If the staff of Student Health Center can educate our students about their health and give them the tools for a healthy lifestyle after they graduate and pursue their careers, then our objectives for college health have been achieved."

Corvette V. Yacoob, ARNP-BC, MSN
Family Nurse Practitioner

Mrs. Corvette V. Yacoob, ARNP, MSN, is a family nurse practitioner and two-time Barry Alumna. She has 20 plus years of nursing experience in medical-surgical nursing, women's health, infertility nursing, and employee health, and is an adjunct faculty member for the nursing program at Miami Dade College. Mrs. Yacoob worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Student Health Center during her educational endeavors here at Barry University and has been a part of the professional staff since 2004. Mrs. Yacoob also has a commitment to Barry students and enjoys her practitioner role in the college health field.

Candice Hill, RN, MHSA

Mrs. Candice Hill completed her undergraduate nursing degree at Barry University. Her Master's in Health Services Administration was obtained at Georgia Southern University. She has experience in medical-surgical, step-down, correctional health and hospice nursing. Candice has been at the Student Health Center since 2001 and is also an adjunct professor with the ACE program at Barry University. Mrs. Hill has a commitment to Barry students and enjoys her nursing role in the college health field.

Pam Foster

Mrs. Pam Foster has 23 years of secretarial experience in the primary and worker's compensation medical office field. She is currently working towards her Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration at Barry and has been employed by the University since 2001.

Dr. Linda Bach, MD
Medical Consultant

Dr. Bach is a Family Practice Physician in private practice in Miami Shores, Florida. She and her staff are readily available for consultation with Student Health Center staff regarding the health needs of Barry Students.

Melda Louis

Ms. Melda Louis graduated from University of Florida in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health. She is currently pursing her Master in Health Services Administration at the University of Phoenix, online campus. For the past six years she worked with the elderly, fall precaution, and newborn patients.
