High School Equivalency Program (HEP)
The High School Equivalency Program (HEP) is an educational project which offers families with migrant or seasonal farm work backgrounds, a unique opportunity to obtain a General Educational Development diploma or GED. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Migrant Education, HEP provides GED instruction in English or Spanish and individualized tutoring. Upon successful completion of the program, students are assisted in placement services such as career counseling, postsecondary education institutions, military services, technical/vocational schools, and workshops to enhance their lifestyle. |
