The social science minor is designed to provide history and political science students the opportunity to broaden their understanding of the world through study of the other social sciences.  Students completing this 30 credit hour minor must take six credit hours in United States history and 24 from the following areas specified below:

• Western civilization or European history;
• Asian or Latin American history;
• Economics;
• United States Federal Government;
• Geography;
• Sociology or Psychology
