Scholarships

There are different possibilities for scholarships that include:

• Gendron Scholarship Awards offered through the Institute of Hispanic/Latino Theology and Ministry: Full-time and part-time scholarships for graduate theological education of ecclesial ministers in the U.S. Hispanic / Latino context are currently available to qualified students through the generosity of the Marie V. Gendron Estate. Gendron scholarships have made it possible for leaders in the field of Hispanic/Latino Ministry from throughout the United States to pursue doctoral studies in ministry at Barry University.
• Other theological and ministerial scholarship programs offered through the Department of Theology and Philosophy
• A 30% discount to students who hold a full-time ministerial position and are enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry or the MA in Practical Theology. 

Graduate assistantships are also sometimes available within the Department.
