Kathryn Ludwig, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor

Having completed a Master of Science degree in Physical Education at Texas Christian University, Dr. Ludwig went on to earn a Doctorate in Physical Education from Texas Woman's University. Doctoral work in biomechanics provided her the opportunity to continue her research interest in the biomechanics of soccer, particularly the skill of heading.

Dr. Ludwig teaches kinesiology, biomechanics, foundation courses, and tests and measurement. Her weekend activities still include her life-long love - soccer. She began playing at age 6, coaching at age 18. She coached the NCAA Division I University of Arkansas Hogs Women's Soccer Team in 1988-89.
