Exercise Science Specialization - MS in Movement Science

Requirements for this 36 credit-hour master's degree program include a thesis or an internship. If you select the internship option, you must complete a comprehensive examination.

Movement Science Graduate Program Core: 12 credit-hours
SES 520 Biomechanis (3), or
SES 546 Qualitative Analysis in Biomechanics (3)
SES 616 Research Methodology in SES  (3)
SES 689 Thesis (Research Track)  (6)
or
SES 679 Internship/Project (Clinical Track)

Exercise Science Course Requirements: 18 credit-hours
SES 561 Advanced Exercise Physiology  (3)
SES 561L Advanced Exercise Physiology Lab (1)
SES 578 ECG Interpretation & Exercise Testing  (2)
SES 618 Fitness and Wellness Promotion (3)
SES 621 Ethics and Social Issues in Sport (3)
SES 672 Exercise & Energy Metabolism  (3)
SES 686 Advanced Practicum  (3)

Program requirements also include completion of course work specific to the track you have selected.

Exercise Science Clinical Track Course Requirements: 6 credit-hours
Choice of two of the following electives**:
