Athletic Training Facilities

Your clinical experiences as an athletic training major begin in Barry's Health and Sports Center's state-of-the-art sports medicine facility. This facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic treatment modalities available in the field. Isokinetic testing equipment, cryo and thermotherapy and electrical stimulating machines are in daily use in the athletic training room. Our eight faculty / clinical instructors offer the combined experience of over 100 years of athletic training practice to athletic training students The athletic training facility serves athletic training students participating on teams at Barry University and provides educational experiences for students in the undergraduate Athletic Training Program, for students in the graduate program in Movement Science, and for students in the orthopedic fellowships in Podiatric Medicine.
