Ed Londono is the director of Campus Recreation and wellness. He was hired in July of 1995 after having worked as the recreation director at Florida International University. Londono has worked in the field of recreation since 1991, and has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration (FIU 1990) and a master's degree in Sport Management (FIU 1995). Londono is also a:

  • member of National Intramural and Recreational Sport Association (NIRSA) since 1992.
  • member of the National Wellness Association (NWA) since 1999.
  • committee member of the Wellness Initiative Network (WIN) since 1998.
  • President of the South Florida Recreation Association (SFRA).
  • certified official for softball, basketball, and flag football.
  • certified Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Instructor since 2000.
  • appointed to the Quality Improvement Program (QIP) committee in 2003.

Dan Hill holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from Barry University (1995) and a Master of Science in Sport Management from Georgia Southern University (2001). Previous work experience includes the NFL, AFL, Division 1 & IAA College, Private health clubs, hospitals, Sports Medicine clinics, High School, and Middle School. Dan is also a retired Sgt. of 8 years with the U.S. Army Reserve Military Police Division Dan also holds certification as a:

  • Certified Athletic Trainer- NATA
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist- NSCA
  • Certified Personal Trainer- NASM & ACE
  • Certified Youth Sport Coach- NAYS
  • Certified First Aid & CPR/AED- AHA

Catalina Franco has an associate's degree in Physical Education from Miami-Dade College , a bachelor's degree in Physical Education (1997), and Master's Degree in Sport Management is from Barry University (2004). She is the owner of the Fitness for Kids program in Broward County .

Catalina is also certified in:

  • First Aid and CPR
  • Florida Certified Physical Education Teacher K-8
  • Pilates Certified
  • 10 years of teaching experience
  • 17 years of group exercise teaching experience.

Toyin Ajisafe has Bachelor’s degree in both Physical Education and Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota.  During his undergraduate study Toyin worked in the campus Wellness Center.  Toyin is pursuing a MS in Biomechanics.  Toyin is also:

  • Certified Personal Trainer – ACE
  • A member of the Men’s Varsity Soccer Team 2006
  • Certified First Aid & CPR/AED – AHA

Andy earned a B.A. degree from Barry University in 2007 in the Sport Management—Golf industry.  He is currently enrolled in the Sport Management.  In addition, Andy is:

  • An experienced intramural referee.
  • A Resident Assistant
  • Certified in First Aid and CPR.
  • Golf experience World Golf Championship, Ford Championship, Crandon Gold Course, and Greene County golf Association.

Carolina graduated from Barry University with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. During her undergraduate study, she was the President of the Barry University Dance Club as well as captain of the Barry University Dance Team. Carolina is pursing a MS in Exercise Science. Carolina is also a:

  • Dance and gymnastic instructor for youth.
  • The Barry University Dance Team Choreographer.

Blake Rizner graduated from Bemidji State University with a degree in Sport Management and a minor in Exercise Science. After graduating, Blake worked for the health and fitness corporation Lifetime Fitness. There he served as a personal trainer as well as a membership advisor. Blake is pursuing a MS in Sports Management. He holds certifications in: 

  • Certified Personal Trainer- NESTA
  • Certified First Aid & CPR/AED- AHA

Anisa graduated from Independence Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree (2001-2003). In 2003, Anisa transferred to Barry University, where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management. She is now pursuing a Master’s in Sport Management. Anisa is:

  • Youth basketball coach
  • Basketball scholarship 2001-2005
  • Sandy Miller Scholar/Athlete
