Quality Improvement Program

The Quality Improvement Program (QIP) serves as an advocate for Barry University employees by providing opportunities and programming for enhancing professional growth and personal effectiveness and by helping to create a quality working environment through supporting positive change.

In addition to university wide programming, QIP offers consultation and support to departments by working together to create a student centered service culture by facilitating teambuilding sessions, evaluating current levels of service and examining processes and procedures as they link to Barry's mission and evolving vision.

Work/Life Balance Initiatives

The Quality Improvement Program offers a variety of Work/Life Balance Initiatives that include the following:

Lunch ‘N Learn - bring your lunch and join your colleagues for an informal discussion about current issues affecting you, your work and your health.

Caregiver Support - designed to encourage employees who are caregivers for individuals in need of care, disabled and/or elderly. The goal is to meet monthly to share experiences and support one another through emotional connectedness and learning about available resources.

Massage Therapy Services - on campus stress relief massages provided to faculty and staff at discounted prices.
