When Do Benefits Start?

Medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage will begin on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. (For example: If your employment start date is May 15th, your benefits will be effective July 1st)

Tuition assistance and employer contribution for retirement will begin after 1 year of employment. Employee Assistance Program is offered to all employees, whether or not they elect to participate in Barry’s health/dental insurances. The Employee Assistance Program is a confidential service that assists employees in balancing work/life matters such as legal consultation, financial services, health and wellness, stress management, etc.

Long-term disability coverage will begin the first of the month following 90 days of employment.

Optional Benefits will begin on the first day of employment.
