Eckerd Family Foundation
The Eckerd Family Foundation provided a grant of $778,000 over a period of three years to create and support the Juvenile Justice Center.

The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation
In 2008, the MacArthur Foundation selected Florida as one of the new Models for Change states and awarded the Juvenile Justice Center and the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office a $100,000 grant to work with other states to create national changes in juvenile advocacy.

The Florida Bar Foundation
The Florida Bar Foundation provided a $5000 grant to assist juvenile defenders in Florida to attend our Trial Training Skills Program in December, 2007. Thirty-seven attorneys attended the three day conference in Orlando, Florida at the Juvenile Justice Center.

American College of Trial Lawyers
The American College of Trial Attorneys helped organize, promote and teach our successful 2007 Trial Skills Training Program. They provided lawyers who donated time and travel to teach our juvenile defenders for three days.

Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law
The Law School at Barry University supports the Juvenile Justice Center through providing two professors, Gerry Glynn and Joanna Markman to supervise and work with the Center.

Florida Public Defender Association
The Florida Public Defender Association supports the Juvenile Justice Center. Nancy Daniels, the elected public defender in Tallahassee and Carlos Martinez from Miami both serve on our Board of Advisers.

Law Offices of Robert L. Parks, P.L.
Robert Parks, Esq. provided countless hours of support in planning and teaching our December, 2007 Trial Skills Training Program.

National Juvenile Defender Center
The National Juvenile Defender Association sponsored two lecturers for the Trial Training Skills Program in December, 2007. They also provide continuous guidance and assistance. Robin Walker Sterling from the NJDC sits on our Board of Advisers.
