Admissions Requirements
Applications
Welcome to the Office of Admissions at Barry Law! We look forward to meeting you soon and assisting you along the way. Click on the contact info tab to contact one of our friendly admissions staff members should you have any questions during the admissions process. If you have not visited our campus, please stop by for a tour sometime soon by clicking on the green tour tab above.
Each year the admissions committee considers over 2000 applications for 200 to 250 seats in the entering class. We follow a rolling admissions policy with a priority deadline of April 1, 2010. Applications received after that deadline will be reviewed on a space-available basis.
The basic requirements to apply to Barry Law include completing the admissions application electronically (LSAC.org), registering with the Law School Data Assembly Service (LSAC.org), and submitting a personal statement (2-3 pages typed and double-spaced) indicating your interest in the study or practice of law and submitting the application fee of $50. Transfer students will address the reason for transferring as the subject of the personal statement. The LSAC will request your official transcripts for inclusion in the “law school report” as well as two required letters of recommendation.
Apply to Barry Law today and join our family of caring faculty, students and staff in Orlando—what a great place to pursue your legal education and beyond!
