Karin L. Moore has joined Barry Law after having served as an Assistant Professor of Law at Florida A&M University College of Law (FAMU), where she was instrumental in the founding of the first death-penalty clinic in a Florida law school.  While at FAMU, she served as the director of the defense clinics (public defender and death penalty) and taught courses in evidence, advanced evidence, criminal procedure, criminal law and a death penalty seminar.

Prior to entering academia, Professor Moore was a criminal defense attorney for 22 years in Gainesville and started her career at the 8th Judicial Circuit's Public Defender Office.  Throughout her years of practice, she tried more than 100 jury trials, including nine homicide trials, two of which were death penalty cases.
