Dana received a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University in Ohio . As the director of CLEATS, Dana oversees the planning and implementation of StART, New Student Orientation, and the various leadership development programs headed up by the office. Before coming to Barry, Dana worked at the University of Michigan , DePaul University , and the University of Miami in orientation, career services, and commuter student affairs. Gina Joseph is the Assistant Director for the Center for Leadership & Transition Services. Gina joined the Barry University family in 1996 as an undergraduate student and also went on to complete her graduate work at Barry in 2004. In her current position, she oversees StART, New Student Orientation, leadership development , and ongoing first-year student support programs. Gina continues to involve herself and the students in higher education professional associations and local community volunteer opportunities. Jesse Swartz

Jesse is currently pursuing a master's degree in Higher Education Administration and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy with a minor in Religion from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. In his role as a graduate assistant, Jesse creates and distributes the monthly First-Year Student E-News and quarterly First-Year Family Forum Newsletter. Additionally, Jesse assists with the planning and implementation of all aspects of the First-Year Programming Board as well as the Freshman Fifteen Series. Before coming to Barry, Jesse spent a year of service with AmeriCorps, where he worked to develop academic, civic and leadership skills in the underprivileged youth of South Philadelphia. |
