Audio Visual Room Policy and Procedures, Library Policies
Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library offers the use of Audio and Visual equipment for patron use.
Library room 226 has been set up as the Audiovisual Room. There are 2 rooms within this room.
INDIVIDUAL USE OF AV ROOM
The first room has 2 listening stations with CD machines and 2 viewing stations with TV/VCR combos. There is 1 viewing station with a TV and DVD player. The 1st room is for individual use only. These stations are available on a first come, first serve basis. Headphones are available at Circulation Desk. They check out for 3 hours. Headphones can also be used on any of the computers in the computer lab (LIB 205.)
GROUP USE OF AV ROOM
The second room will have 1 listening station with CD machine and 1 viewing station with TV, VCR, and DVD machine. This room is for group use. This group AV room may be reserved for 2 hours at a time. There is a limit of 1 reserve period per day per student. Please contact the Circulation Desk to reserve this room. You must schedule this room with at least one day notice. No same day appointments will be accepted. A daily schedule of appointments and times will be posted in the room. When not reserved for use, this room can be used on a first come, first serve basis. There is a door that will allow privacy and noise reduction.
SLIDE PROJECTORS
There are 2 slide projectors that can be checked out at the Reserve Room. These will circulate for 3 hours. Slide projectors can be used within the library in study rooms.
