Letter from President of the Alumni Board of Directors
Dear friends and fellow alumni,
We have started the new year with outstanding involvement from both our undergraduate and alumni family.
This year as president, and working with our Alumni Board, we have encountered many opportunities to be a catalyst for change. We have witnessed numerous new additions and changes and are working hard to keep our Alumni Board, administration, students, faculty, and board of trustees “in the know.” Additionally, we have examined athletic, business, community and alumni trends around the country and have looked for ways to increase growth with a focus in the areas of campus life and academic scholarships.
Now we need you and your passion. Your involvement in our efforts and events is priceless and vital if we are to continue to grow in future. Nominating fellow alums to our Alumni Board and for a Distinguished Alumni Award is just one of many ways you can contribute to our efforts.
“Serviam” is Latin for “service.” It is with great pride that we continue to offer the private, international, Catholic education for which Barry University is so well known. So please take the time to get involved and be Barry Proud.
Yours in faith and service,
Maura F. O’Shea-Owens ’91, ’94 MS, ’95
