Marc Weinstein, Ph.D.
Dr. Marc Weinstein has an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley (1985), a Master’s degree from the Monterey Institute of International Studies (1987), and a doctoral degree from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1996). Dr. Weinstein has been a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Gdansk, a visiting Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University, Assistant Professor at the University of Oregon, and an Associate Professor at Florida International University. He also has consulted with numerous employers, unions, and government agencies.
Dr. Weinstein has broad interests in employee/employer relations, occupational safety and health, cross-cultural communications, negotiations, and ethics. His current research investigating the diffusion of innovations in occupational safety and health in the construction industry is support by a five-year grant from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health and the Center for Construction Research and Training (CPWR). Dr. Weinstein has collaborated on numerous other state and federal research grants and has published over thirty articles and book chapters.
