Dr. Lin is a molecular biologist/endocrinologist who studies reproductive biology in fish and amphibians. His research involves the elucidation of the molecular and biological mechanisms by which gonadotropins, gonadal peptides, and steroids control episodic reproductive activities in vertebrates.

Research Interests

• Regulation of growth, differentiation, and survival of neurons from distinct regions of the mammalian brain that are particularly susceptible to neuro-degenerative disorders
• growth factor signal transduction
