Off-Campus Summer Research

Trainees spend 8-10 weeks in a research lab at national and international sites during the summer preceding their senior year.

At the site trainees:

• Work alongside graduate students/post-doctoral fellows
• Participate in research laboratory meetings
• Attend guest lectures series

Upon returning to Barry, trainees:

• Present research during Seminar Series
• Share experiences with other trainees and students
• Mentor upcoming students for other internships
• Present research at scientific meetings
• Publish with their research mentors
