The symposium celebrated the 20th anniversary of the NIH support MARC U*STAR program (1983) (www.barry.edu/marc).

These grants have provided biomedical research opportunities for over 106 students majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Mathematics.

Of the 79 MARC graduates, 61 have obtained or are currently enrolled in PhD, MD or MD/PhD programs and 8 have completed the MS degree.

The Symposium highlighted our accomplishments over the years.
