Sylvia Maciá, Ph.D.

Sylvia Maciá, Ph.D. (University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science), is currently researching the feasibility of using laboratory-reared seagrass seedlings for the replanting of damaged and unvegetated shallow-water seagrass communities in South Florida. She will be teaching in our new environmental science program.
