The MBA program at Barry University has been designed with today’s business professional in mind. We offer flexible evening programs where students can choose from part-time enrollment or full-time enrollment. All MBA courses are held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Part-Time: Some students prefer a part-time schedule, finding it easier to balance classes, work and family obligations. You can take one or two classes a semester, provided that you complete the MBA within five years. The pace of your program can be customized with the help of your graduate advisor.
Full-Time: Do you want to earn your MBA at a faster pace? If you enroll full-time, you can complete your MBA in as little as eighteen (18) months. This would require taking three classes (9 credits) per semester. For some, this is ideal as it allows you to earn your degree at a faster pace. Since the full-time program requires a good deal of time, we recommend that students do not hold a full-time job.
International Students: If you are an International Student, the USCIS requires you maintain a full load of 9 credit hours (3 classes in the fall and spring semesters) in order to keep your student visa.
The evening classes and the centrally located Miami Shores campus, makes this program very convenient and easily accessible for those living and working in Miami-Dade or Broward County.
Dual Degree Programs
Looking to pursue a dual degree in Nursing, Podiatric Medicine, or Sport Management? Please contact the individual school to learn if they also offer evening classes to accommodate your work or personal schedule.
Applying to our MBA Program
Barry University operates on rolling admissions, which means there are no admission deadlines. You can begin the MBA program in the Fall, Spring or Summer semesters. Learn more about our admissions process and applying online.
Barry University offers non-credit workshops for those individuals who may lack the prerequisites in specific disciplines. These intensive workshops enable you to quickly gain functional business knowledge at a reasonable cost. Each required workshop must be completed before you can take a 600-level course in that discipline.
You can choose to complete your prerequisites by taking courses at Barry University or another regionally accredited (four-year or two-year) college or university. You may also be able to test out of some prerequisites workshops by taking the CLEP.
