How long will it take?

Barry's MBA program can be completed in less than one (1) year, full-time, and less than two (2) years, part-time. You may, of course, proceed at a more leisurely pace to suit your individual situation, provided all coursework is completed within five years of first enrollment.

Full-time Program. You can complete the full-time, evening MBA program in less than 1 year (11 months) if you have an undergraduate degree in business. The full-time program is offered on the Miami Shores campus. You may start in Fall, Spring, or Summer. The course load precludes full-time work; you should keep that in mind when selecting your program.

Part-time Programs. Part-time study is offered at Barry's Miami Shores campus. The program can be completed in less than 2 years (23 months).

Prerequisites/Preparatory Workshops. Barry University offers non-credit workshops for those individuals who may lack the prerequisites in specific disciplines. These workshops enable you to complete your prerequisites in less time with less expense. Each required workshop must be completed before you can take a 600-level course in that discipline.

You can alternately choose to complete your prerequisites by taking coursework at Barry or another regionally accredited four-year or two-year college or university. You can also choose to test out of some subjects, by taking the CLEP.
