Focus On Christian Whitt, MBA

After graduation from Barry with an MBA degree, Christian started working as a project manager at DaimlerChrysler AG. His position is in the area of supplier management with the focus of developing processes and eBusiness systems for communication and coordination with suppliers. At the same time, Christian is pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, elaborating on the topic of “launch and change management in inter-organizational corporations.”

Mr. Whitt believes that his education received at Barry was instrumental to his career success in many ways. As he states, “My studies at Barry were both exciting and extremely rewarding. I was well prepared for the business world as the Andreas School of Business combines a strong curriculum with the possibility to conduct challenging internships at major corporations. Throughout my studies, I was taught three fundamental skills which I believe are crucial to success in the business world these days: competence, the ability to communicate, and the ability to assert one’s self. These core principles were transmitted through the exceptional faculty at Barry’s Andreas School of Business, always creating a caring and small classroom atmosphere that allowed inspiring discussions with professors and fellow students.”
