On July 7th, Dr. Dale Hartz, Assistant Professor of Management at Barry’s School of Business hosts two Instagram Live showsexploring ways to make a real impact on your community with the President and CEO of Miami-Dade Beacon Council, Michael Finney. The Insiders airs Tuesday, July 7, at noon, and Barry Banter on Wednesday, July 8, at 9 PM.
On The Insiders, Dr. Hartz and Mr. Finney will discuss “Inspiring Change: One Community One Goal.” Mr. Finney is an expert in building up communities through a variety of avenues, including economically. The Miami-Dade Beacon Council is a nonprofit that successfully serves as the official economic development organization for the county. It markets the area as a world‐class business location, growing local companies and shaping the local economy's future. Mr. Finney formerly served as Michigan Governor Rick Snyder’s Senior Advisor for Economic Growth and President & CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Under his management, the state revitalized its “Pure Michigan” tourism campaign.
