Labs: College of Health Sciences Facilities
We have 6 classrooms dedicated to SNHS, all of which are “smart classrooms” equipped with Internet access and PowerPoint computer projection systems. In addition, we use many of the other classrooms on campus.
We have 11 teaching labs, each specifically equipped for the discipline(s) taught in the lab: Biotechnology/Genetics, Cell Biology, Anatomy, Zoology, Marine Biology/Botany, Occupational Therapy/Histology, Physiology, Embryology, Microbiology, Cardiovascular Perfusion, and Histotechnology. Several of these are also “smart classrooms.”
We have 12 individual faculty research labs with adjacent faculty offices. There is one shared equipment room, a laboratory prep room, and two greenhouses.
We have a Student Resource Room with computers, printers, scanners, and resource materials on study skills, careers, graduate program or professional school options, and much more. We also have two resource rooms for the students involved in the minority student research grants.
