The Foot and Ankle Institute
The physicians and staff at our five foot care centers answer the need in our local community for comprehensive care of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. We have assembled the most qualified staff of board certified physicians who, along with conscientious students, provide personal care to patients from the community.
We bring a wide-range of expertise to our office, managing all pathology of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. Examination of the lower extremity involving surgical and non-surgical care is our priority. Our teaching and research backgrounds ensure that our patients will receive the best of care.
Conservative alternatives are practiced before surgical treatments whenever possible. The following conditions, among others, are treated at our foot care centers:
- Heel pain
- Ingrown toenails
- Corns and calluses
- Warts and other skin disorders
- Arthritis
- Ulcers
- Diabetes-related, geriatric foot care
- Fungus nails
- Arch pain
- Elective, reconstructive, traumatic, arthroscopic and laser surgery
- Injuries, fractures, dislocations, and infections
- Children's problems including intoeing, flatfoot, and other abnormalities
- Sports-related injuries
- Second opinions
- Workers' compensation
Our professional and courteous office staff provide bilingual support, when necessary, while assisting our students and doctors.
We have five locations in Miami-Dade County.
