Dual Degree Option: MSN / MBA

The MSN / MBA program is designed to prepare nurse leaders with a unique blend of nursing, leadership and business skills. Graduates of this dual program will have the ability to assume leadership in a variety of health-related arenas: hospitals, corporate offices, ambulatory care facilities, and entrepreneurial ventures.

MSN / MBA students take the required core and nurse administrator specialization courses. For MBA admission requirements (you must apply for admission), course descriptions, and prerequisites, see the Andreas School of Business section of the graduate catalog.

Requirements: All Nursing Degree-Seeking Students, Core Courses (15 credits)
NUR 601, NUR 617, NUR 679, NUR 614, NUR 624

Required courses for the Nursing Specialization of Nurse Administrator (24 credits)
NUR 520, NUR 638, NUR 660, NUR 682, NUR 688, NUR 674, NUR 696 (6 credits)

Required Business Core Courses (24 credits)

Business Electives (6 cr.) In the Nurse Administrator Specialization curriculum, NUR 696- Nurse Administrator Integration Practicum (6 credits) will serve as electives to complete the Business portion of the program requirements.
