If you are a registered nurse and are admitted to Barry's MSN program, you will be eligible for a 30% tuition discount each semester.
In addition to our tuition discount program, Barry's Division of Nursing offers scholarships, loans, grants, and Nurse Traineeships to eligible students. These opportunities are open to all students.

Handsel Nursing Loan Fund
Small need-based emergency loan fund of $100 - 500 per year with an interest rate of 3%.
Federal Perkins Loan

Southwest Student Services, Sallie Mae Company and Stafford Loans Southwest Student Services, a Sallie Mae company, offers Nursing Students the Nursing Advantage Loan program, where students can conveniently apply for both Federal Stafford Loans and Signature Private Loans in one easy step. The Southwest Federal Stafford Loans have 0 fees and allow students to receive up to 3 % principal loan reduction after 36 on-time monthly payments. US Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is now taking applications for the Nurse Education Loan Repayment Program (NELRP) which provides up to 85% of student loan debt for nurses who work in eligible facilities located in areas experiencing a shortage of nurses. The purpose of the NELRP is to assist in the recruitment and retention of professional nurses dedicated to providing health care to under served populations. Check website for deadline dates. Determination of which eligible applicants will receive an award is based on a four-tier preference scale based on the availability of funds.
