Curriculum Content includes
- Advanced pathophysiology, advanced pharmacology, and advanced health assessment / differential diagnosis specific for family nurse practitioners
- Advanced practice nursing skills in a primary health care setting
- Leadership skills in creating ethical and socially responsible changes in the socio-political realm in which health care is delivered
Clinical Experience
- Major focus of the program is on clinical practice
- All students complete a minimum of 500 hours of precepted clinical learning including a practicum in the students' practice area of interest
- You will develop advanced nursing practice of the expertise necessary for the management of individuals and their families across the wellness-illness continuum.
