Curriculum Content includes

  • Advanced pathophysiology, advanced pharmacology, and advanced health assessment / differential diagnosis specific for family nurse practitioners
  • Advanced practice nursing skills in a primary health care setting

Clinical Experience

  • Major focus of the program is on clinical practice
  • All students complete a minimum of 500 hours of precepted clinical learning including a practicum in the students' practice area of interest
  • You will develop advanced nursing practice of the expertise necessary for the management of individuals and their families across the wellness-illness continuum.
