I was born in Washington, D.C., and moved to the South Florida area 15 years ago. My undergraduate degree was special education and speech. I taught school for about 10 years. I then decided to change careers and enrolled in the MSW program at Barry University .
The faculty is the best in the world, knowledgeable and experienced. My field placement was excellent. Barry provided excellent opportunities for training. After obtaining my MSW, I worked in the field as a therapist. I am sitting for the LCSW exam in February 2004 and look forward to going into private practice.
