WINTER PARK, Fla. -- Barry freshman Adam Svensson has been recognized as the Sunshine State Conference Men's Golfer of the Week presented by VALIC.
Svensson (Surrey, British Columbia) placed second in a field of 90 golfers at the Bobcat Invitational in Eatonton, Ga. Svensson fired a three-round score of 209 (69-69-71) to finish one-under par. His finish was his second straight second-place performance, as he also tied for second at the Southeastern Collegiate. Led by Svensson's efforts, the Bucs placed sixth in the 17-team field.
