Research on Understanding the Acquisition, Interpretation, and Use of Research Evidence in Policy and Practice

Synopsis:
Grants are available for multiyear research projects that increase the understanding of how research evidence is acquired, interpreted, and used in policy and practice that affect youth between the ages of 8 and 25 in the United States. The foundation encourages interdisciplinary projects, and welcomes applications from researchers in various fields and discipline.

Funding:
Award Ceiling is 600,000 for two to three years.

Grand Challenges Exploration (round 12)

Synopsis:
This is an accelerated grant program that encourages bold approaches aimed at improving the lives of the world's poorest people.

Funding:
Award ceiling is $100,000 with opportunity to receive additional funding of up to $1 million.
