Rogers Repeats As SSC Women's Soccer Defensive Player Of The Week

WINTER PARK, Fla.— Barry junior keeper Becca Rogers repeated as Sunshine State Conference defensive player of the week, presented by VALIC, after keeping the Buccaneers undefeated in conference action.

Rogers led Barry to a 2-1 victory over Saint Leo while making nine saves. Against Florida Tech, Rogers recorded eight saves, totaling 17 on the week, in a 0-0 double-overtime draw. Barry is now 4-0-1 in conference action and sitting in first place. It is the Bucs’ best start to conference season since 2004.

Rogers leads the league in all keeper catagories with a 0.68 goals against average, .875 save percentage and six shutouts. She ranks third in saves and saves per game.
