Almost two dozen Barry University nursing students distributed food to underprivileged families this semester through a service learning initiative taught by Dr. Donna Rice and Professor Steve Lewis. The Baptist BOND Cohort Nursing Students worked out in the community serving Barry’s mission by addressing a pressing public health issue; hunger. Students packed food that would be distributed to those in need.
