Wellness Day 2014

Wellness Day 2014

On February 26, 2014 the Wellness Initiative Network (WIN) celebrated its 14th Annual Wellness Day. Held each year in the spring semester, Wellness Day was developed in association with the Department of Campus Recreation & Wellness (CRW) and is meant to acknowledge the eight dimensions of well-being: emotional, financial, intellectual, social, spiritual, physical, vocational, and global. This year’s theme was "Wellness Within; Find Your Fit."

The event featured various on-campus student services as part of the theme and took the opportunity to promote and expose all of the services available to Barry students in order to enhance their overall well-being.

Wellness Day included vendors associated with self-care options, nutrition, health care, environmental care, physical and recreational alternatives, life coaching, stress reduction and relaxation. The vendors engaged the Barry community at their booths by offering a range of activities.
