MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Sheehan Planas-Arteaga continues to add the hardware, after being named to both the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and Daktronics Division II First-Team All-South Region.

Planas-Arteaga put together his strongest season in a Bucs’ uniform and was the driving force behind a potent offense all spring. The Miami native was recently named to the Sunshine State Conference First-Team after leading the league in hitting with a .385 average.

It is the second consecutive season that the Buccaneers land a consensus first-team all-region selection; last spring it was Adrian English receiving the honors for the Bucs.
